Some
further information:
"The
vast majority of PC games sold today are designed for control by
a mouse, or mouse-plus-keyboard combination. Despite the rapidly
growing popularity of force feedback for joystick and racing games---and
the greater creative opportunities it offers game developers---producers
of most games have not been able to take advantage of this technology
because there are no suitable controllers. With the introduction
of the force-feedback mouse, developers will now be able to provide
feel sensations in all kinds of games, including first-person, real-time
strategy, role-playing, adventure, sports, simulation, strategy,
war, hunting, classics, puzzles and edutainment titles."
-From a Logitech Press Release - March 16/99
