I just posted a little known game from the 70s called "Cluster" by Philip Shoptaugh. Each player plays with 2 sizes of pegs (tall/short) which can be placed in either a deep or shallow hole. When a tall peg is placed in a deep hole, it's height is "correct", also when a short peg is placed in a shallow hole it's height is also "correct". The goal is to get all of your pegs to connect and be at the "correct" height. I find that the game has good clarity and is enjoyable to play. I have uploaded a completely free Axiom version of the game to the board game geek site. The original bgg page had little information on the game, but thanks to my correspondence with Philip Shoptaugh on the game, I've been able to change that. and Axiom PC game at board game geek: http://www.boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/22004 -- Greg |
