'March Hare Checkers' was inspired by V. R. Parton's 'March Hare Chess.' The game is played the same as International Checkers with the exception that on his turn, the player makes two moves. First he moves one of his own pieces, then one of his opponent's pieces. The mandatory capture rule is still in effect, and the player must make a capture if possible.
To offset Red's first move advantage, Red only moves one of his own pieces at the start of the game.
A player wins when his able to reduce his opponent to a lone piece or zero pieces. |
