Astralschach is a new chessvariant, in which the figures and rules of the normal chess are maintained but with the extension that long range pieces (queen, rook, bishop) are able to sit on other pieces, except the Kings and Queens.

The pieces on the chessboard (except the Kings and Queens), and only this one, are building a second plane, so there is a maximal number of 28 fields in the second plane.
